Here's my beautiful angel Elizabeth and my cute little penguin Alex. They had so much fun trick or treating with their cousins, which has become a new family tradition. Thanks Auntie Barbara and Uncle Eric for having us again!
Yesterday was Alex's EEG test and the results should be back in a week...more waiting. All I can say is, I hope we never have to do that again. Alex cried from the minute we walked into the small room, until he was in the elevator. (Over 1 hour) The EEG Tech, thought that my outlook on the testing was too pessimistic and now she knows why. In her 20 years of experience, I bet she doesn't see many kids react the way Alex did. Alex doesn't even like to have his hair cut, so I knew that this was going to be tough. Spiro and I had to hold him down on the bed the entire time...I don't know why he still loves us?? or Trusts us?? I really hate these tests.
On a good note, Alex now has a very large appetite! I think it's a side effect from the medication! Tonight he weighed in at 27.4! Last week he was 26.8...that's a big increase for him and I hope he keeps it up. His G.I. doctor will be thrilled. Next week Alex has his follow up appointment with his orthopaedic doctor and a quick visit with his pediatrician to do a level on the Depakote. More crying ... Sigh. Thanks for checking in on us...I'll update with tests results as soon as I get them back. Carol
